It is one of the oldest buildings in Banyeres, situated between the 13th and 14th centuries, its style is rural Gothic.
It is a free-standing building built with masonry and a gabled roof of Arabian tiles. Its facade, oriented to the west, is pentagonal with the upper vertex truncated by the belfry. The door is reinforced with zinc plate, above it, an oval ocle gives light to the chapel. The angle of the pediment is finished off by a belfry formed by two pillars and a slender pointed arch. The floor plan has a single rectangular nave with ogival diaphragm arches, a roof with five beams supported by these arches and the side walls. The entire roof is plastered in white, which partly masks its medieval features.
This chapel takes on great importance during the month of July, as various events are held in its honour, such as fairs, correfocs, processions.
