Tower built at the beginning of the 16th century, in one of the accesses to the town.
This tower has undergone many variations in its structure, especially from the mid-nineteenth century, which was integrated as part of a two-story house. It is not known which family it belongs to, but the building is characterised as a low-ranking noble garden building, possibly belonging to a gentleman and associated with agricultural properties and the road between Bocairent and Banyeres.
In December 1990 the relevant restoration and archaeological excavation work was carried out, with the aim of transforming it into a museum.
It is a square building, with an approximate height of 18m, and was built with uncoated masonry walls. The corners, cornices, lintels of holes and arches are made of ashlar.
