The chapel stands on a hill near a pine forest. In front of the chapel there is a small esplanade surrounded by cypress trees and a stone cross that replaces the old one that was about a hundred metres further east and marked the border with Agres. This chapel has the characteristic of being very high, so it rests on three buttresses on each side. It consists of a nave, a sacristy and a hermit’s house.
The façade is austere, with only one door and one window. The floor measures 13.15 by 5.67 metres and consists of three sections separated by pilasters and fajon arches. The head section rises to form the presbytery; to the left is the access to the sacristy and above it is the choir, open to the church.
The altarpiece is in neoclassical Renaissance style, the gap between two columns is occupied by a niche in which, on the same base, are the two images of the Patron Saints: the Virgin on the left and St. Anthony on the right on groups of angels.
The recreational area next to the hermitage is a good place to spend a pleasant day with the family.
