Sober and discreet in its exterior appearance, the interior instead, the Valencian baroque of churrigueresque style invades the High Altar. The altarpiece of the “Altar of the Souls which represents the final judgment, is attributed to the school of Juanes. The temple, initially Renaissance in the seventeenth and eighteenth century acquired the current baroque appearance. In the other one we also find the municipal coat of arms, and in it a spire. A tool that was believed to give the name to the town, and that symbolizes the esparto grass craftsmanship that was made in this town.
